The plaid shirt has for awhile been a very controversial subject within the fashion community, some implied that it was simply unflattering, and others preached that it was the textile of the devil himself, but there was one small voice in the designer community who said that even the plaid can look good if done right, and they were right. A plaid shirt is very tricky for a designer to pull off, there are lots of colors that usually all have to be nuetral, and worse is the size of the plaid, the thickness of the stripes, and all sorts of things that make the designing process more difficult.
However if you direct your attention to the pictures above you might notice that the shirts are neither boring nor are they unflattering. Why is that though? What diffrentiates these plaids to the plaids of previous generations is in their details, note the bright colors, the fit, and the pattern size.
